Bison products, as nature intended

When an animal’s life is taken to nourish us, we honor that by using every part possible. Bison not only provide a variety of nutritious foods, but also sustainable by-products for people, pets and industries.

A natural super-meat

Bison meat is leaner and higher in protein than most other meats—including beef. It also has fewer calories, less cholesterol, more iron, and a higher ratio of healthy fatty acids like Omega-3. It’s what we like to call a super-meat.

Frontier Bison meat is:

  • 100% pure Canadian bison (no hybrid breeding)

  • Naturally raised (low stress improves flavor and tenderness)

  • Hormone and antibiotic free

  • Minimally processed without preservatives

  • Higher in protein compared to other domestically raised meat (see table)

  • High in iron plus healthy fatty acids
